Newmarket-Aurora is ready for a Green choice

I have just received word from our Association CEO, Vanessa Long, that the Newmarket-Aurora returning officer has confirmed that my registration papers have been accepted and that I am now officially on the ballot for January 23rd!!! Way to go team!!!

I want to thank the team for all their hard work this year getting us to this point. We met for the first time in April of 2005, registered the Electoral District Association in June, attended both the Aurora Street Festival and the Windfall Ecology Festival in the summer, held our nominations in September, and hosted a couple of movie & discussion nights. We are now a political presence in Newmarket-Aurora and we are here to stay.

So kudos to the team:
Vanessa Long, CEO
Christie Harken, Media Relations
Denis Van Decker, Membership Chair
Jim Nicholson, Campaign Manager
Alison Sanzo, Official Agent
Bethany Fisher, signs and volunteer coordinator
Jeff Harti
and last but certainly not least,
Mollie Fisher, my wife and favourite singer in the world.

Thank you so much for your support.

And now it is up to you, the voter.

Please visit our web site and learn what we are about, and come out to one of our coffee mornings so we can meet and chat in a relaxed atmosphere.
Every Saturday throughout the campaign we’ll be at Zavida Coffee on Bayview north of Wellington, 10:00 to 12:00

And vote Green for a change!!!

Hey Glenn,
We need a real green sign for our front yard.
I currently have the green flag that we used for the tree planting in the spring, but some folks may not understand.
