As some who know me personally already know, I have changed jobs recently. After 3.5 years at Marshall Macklin Monaghan, I left before Xmas and I started today at EPCOR Ontario. EPCOR is an Edmonton based utility company in the power and water fields, with a wide variety of interests. I am there to work on developing power projects in Ontario, particularly thermal related projects, which means co-generation, combined heat and power, energy from waste, district energy, and the like.
My office is downtown Toronto, which means a commute into the city via the GO train from Aurora. I’ll post more on my observations from the commute later, once I’ve gotten used to it.
