I tip my hat to the Town of Aurora today, which is finally considering a pesticide ban by-law. Public input is requested during a public meeting Thursday March 27, 7 – 9 pm, at the town hall, and/or you can fill out an online survey here.
It is really too bad that this has to be done at the level of each and every municipality, when the province could address it so much more easily.
Next up? Perhaps an anti-idling bylaw?

It does seem a waste of effort , each municipality almost duplicating anothers laws ,but of course each law will be just different enought its a pain the tukus for business.
Might I suggest that Public imput night would be an appropriate thing for you to attend?
Did they ever resolve the clothes line thing? It’s almost that season again.

Last I heard the province was going to do something about the clothes line thing. I’d have to check. –Glenn
Hi Glenn:
Is there a link to the following?
Green parties position & plans on improving / protecting our resources, the fragile north, immigration scanning, foreign ownership, and our boarders?
What are the Green parties plans on updating RRSP Contributions for home ownership, property rights, and your opinion on Land Transfer Tax current scale structure?
Since the price of diesel and gasoline has risen so drastically, yet the amount of GST collected has more then doubled over the last five years, would the Green party decrease taxes / fuel produced in Canada to truck line distributers so the burden would not be passed onto consumers?
Best of luck in the election Glenn!
