The Captains Dinner

I haven’t been mentioning it in previous posts, but the day times on the boat are all pretty much the same, not that that is a bad thing.  Breakfast and Lunch is served on the boat, we leave port around breakfast or shortly after and typically arrive at a new port in late afternoon.  The hours in between are spent watching the coastline slide by, reading, snoozing, basking in the 28C sunshine, and taking a bit of a swim each day.  This makes decision making fairly easy.

The good ship Liberty docked in Trstenik tonight.  This is an island town with no ATM, only a couple of restaurants, and you can walk the entire length in about 10 minutes.  There’s not much to see.

We did find a local wine shop, where they offered samples of local wine and olive oils with bread.  It was exceptional!

The ship hosted “The Captains Dinner” tonight, which you could choose instead of the local restaurant.  About half the boat chose this option.  The food was good, but we were a bit surprised that Captain Mario was a no show.  Strange.
