Gen X and Gen Y

For Green Party supporters, stories like this one show how vitally important it is for us to make sure that everyone votes, particularly the younger generations.

It’s a Catch-22.  Young people have become disenfranchised and convinced that their voice in the political process does not matter, and therefore don’t vote and prove themselves right.  Yet if they pool their votes and ensure that all of their peers vote as well, they can have a tremendous impact, and will no longer be ignored.

Please pass on this link to all of the Gen X and Gen Y crowd that you know.

Maybe it’s not just dumb kids being dumb kids. Maybe we are right. Maybe if we didn’t feel that MPs were just mouthpieces for parties, we would see the point in voting.

That’s so not fair… I want to vote, yet older people are totally ignoring their right too. I have to wait 3 years before I’m old enough to vote, and then it may be too late
