Something from the lighter side….
First the Liberals take a page from the Green Party policy book in formulating their watered down version they call the Green Shift, and now Global National has taken a page from the Green Party’s campaign plan.
To explain, Elizabeth May just completed her cross country tour by train, allowing her to cross the country in a much more environmentally friendly way than the other parties jets, but also allowing her to reach out to voters who are frequently ignored during an election campaign. Many of these communities have not seen a national party since John Diefenbaker in 1961.
Global News has set up a jet (not so environmentally friendly, guys!) they are calling the Peoples Express to go to small towns across the nation for exactly the same purpose.
And people thought our idea was silly? Imagine!
